Carl Edwin Kamerath passed away September 2, 2007 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born in Salt Lake City on August 17, 1918 to Hermann and Augusta Wunderlich Kammerath. He attended local schools and was a graduate of East High. He married Alice Fay Earl on March 16, 1940. Alice passed away in July of 1997. They are the parents of five children: Roger Carl deceased, David Earl Sharon, Brent Dee, Nancy Ellen Morrison, and James Lowell Carrie; and grandparents of 20. After serving in the Army during WWII, Carl was employed at the Navy Supply Depot and the Ogden Logistics Center. From there he transferred to Hill Air Force Base, working for more than forty years and retiring as a Department of the Air Force civilian. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was an avid bicyclist for many years following his retirement. Carl was a life-long member of the L.D.S. Church. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2007 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45a.m. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Special thanks to Lowell and Carrie and their family for the loving care they?ve given Dad the last several years.
