Bradley Thomas Clark

September 4, 1985 — June 21, 2022

Salt Lake City, UT-Brad left this world and moved onto his next adventure June 21, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Brad was born September 4, 1985, to Sherlene and John Thomas Clark. Born in California and raised in Utah, Brad spent his childhood riding dirt bikes, boating, and causing mischief in general. Actions of note include hitting cars (police cars not excluded) with water balloons, shooting a BB gun through the kitchen ceiling and rolling a car off the mountainside. He had the exceptional ability to convince you to lend him tools that you knew you would never see again. He used these to modify every vehicle he had ever owned.

Brad could debate with the best – he was exceptionally smart – and was not afraid to let his opinion be forced upon others. Despite his strong personality he never let differences of opinion come between relationships. Even if it involved pizza.

With a magnetic personality Brad was quick to develop friendships and quickly become a loyal friend to many. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Uruguay and had a deep and abiding love for the people there. He carried over this love of people to a successful career in sales. He could quickly find common ground with everybody he encountered and could talk to absolutely anyone about absolutely anything. These conversations usually ended in laughter. Brad had a contagious laugh that lit up his eyes and made all around feel his joy.

Upon returning home from his mission, he eventually moved to Georgia and met the love of his life, Hania Barton.  It was clear to everyone that he found his soul mate. He was deeply in love with her, and she filled a spot in his life in a way nobody else could. Much to her dismay, he made sure to publicly express how lucky he was to have her in his life on a near daily basis.

Brad had a heart that was larger than life. He loved his family fiercely, especially his wife Hania and daughter Clover. His love for them was deep and unwavering. He did everything under the sun to make sure they knew this. For Brad to know you was for Brad to love you.  He never hesitated to let his family know of his profound love for them.  His favorite place was always with family, joking with others and looking out for his sister.  He never let his nieces and nephews go home without a “Uncle Brad loves the heck out of you guys”.

His daughter Clover was his heart and soul, and they went on countless adventures together from dance-offs to popsicle trips, to underwater expeditions.  You wouldn’t have believed Brad’s smile could have gotten any bigger until you saw him with Clover.  She was the light of his life.

He took on life’s challenges with a fighting spirit waving his pirate flag.  As a family we are proud of the way he faced his trials.  His unwavering optimism and never-ending love have left an indelible mark on our hearts.  To say that he will be deeply missed would be a true understatement.

Brad is survived by his wife Hania Barton-Clark and his daughter Clover Jessa Clark. Also survived by his mother Sherlene Dean, stepfather James Dean, siblings JT (Kristin) Clark, Todd (Abbey) Clark, Dave (Bayly) Clark and Caitlin Clark, and step siblings Stephanie (Chadwick) Bradshaw, Mike (Jill) Dean, and Matt Dean.

He is preceded in death by his father John Thomas Clark.

A graveside service for family will be held on Saturday June 25th.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the home of his brother Dave Clark, 1855 South 850 East, Bountiful, UT. Open House will begin at 5:00pm

In lieu of flowers, donations to his daughter’s education fund would be appreciated:  Clover Jessa Clark Education Fund
