Bonna Faye Griffiths Auffhammer

November 22, 1933 — June 24, 2022

Loving sister and aunt, Bonna Faye was born to William L. and Nettie Griffiths in Ogden, Utah.  She passed away June 24, 2022 at Beehive Home in Syracuse, Utah.
She was raised in Ogden, Utah graduating from Weber High and attended University of Utah.  She went to work for Mountain Bell and many years later retired from AT&T.   After she married, she moved to Hawaii for many years, then San Jose, California and later returned to Syracuse, Utah to be closer to her family.

Bonna was an amazing cook, avid reader and loved the Arts. She was a member of AT&T Pioneers and the daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was an active member of the  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Bonna was also a visiting teacher and taught the adult Sunday school class.

Bonna was never blessed with children but loved her many pets.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Marlene Oram, brother-in-law Donald Oram, niece Ronna Orozco, brother Terry Griffiths, brother-in-law Dave Craw. Survived by her sister Shanna Craw, Sister-in-law Mary Lou Griffiths and many nephews and nieces.

The family wishes to thank the Beehive Home for the loving care, and making her last 6 years so happy.  We also express a special thanks to Suncrest Hospice, especially Alice Boseworth and Heather Dunaway for the special care & attention given to Bonna. She really loved them.

Graveside services will be held at Ogden City Cemetery Friday, July 1, 2022 at 2:00pm.
