Beverly Blundell

May 7, 1926 — June 15, 2021

Beverly Mae Martin Blundell passed away of natural causes at the age of 95 in Bountiful, Utah, June 15th 2021. She was born May 7th 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third child of Valter Albert Martin and Minnie Edna Palmer.

She graduated from East High School. On August 26th 1944 during WW2 she married Harry Blundell in Corpus Christy, Texas, and they were later sealed together in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

Beverly was a loving mother and devoted wife. She was kind, generous and thankful. She
considered herself a “little girl who had everything she ever wanted.” She enjoyed gardening,
tennis, golf, skiing, and dancing with Harry, “the best dancer she had ever met!”

Excelling in sewing and quilting, she continued to provide hand sewn quilts that she donated to mothers and infants through LDS Humanitarian Services late into her life.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings including, Relief Society President, and with her husband ,Harry, as President of the Fresno, California Mission.

She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings, son John Scott, grandsons Corbin
Martin Blundell, Christopher David Saunders, and great grandson Bosten Peters.

She is survived by her children, Martin Henry ( Norma ), James Robert, Peter Lynn ( Shauna ), Amy Louise ( Jim ) Moulton, Ann Saunders, Todd Aaron, eighteen grand children, twenty-two great grand children, and one great great grand child.

A viewing will be held at the Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful on Monday,
June 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A family graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM at the Bountiful Cemetery on Tuesday, June 22nd.

The family would like to thank the staff and care givers at the Inn at Barton Creek for their kind and loving service to Beverly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to LDS Humanitarian Services.
