Beth Rose Larkins age 85, died peacefully on Friday, January 26 at her home in Layton, Utah, surrounded by her husband and family. Beth was born on February 24, 1921 to William Warren and Mabel Pinder Rose. She married the love of her life Howard Fred Larkins on November 19, 1941, Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Beth was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served faithfully in various callings in Young Women?s, Relief Society and Primary. She also served many years as a Temple Worker in the Mesa, Arizona, and Ogden, Utah Temples. She worked as a Merchandise Coordinator at Diamond?s Department Store and retired after 20 years of service. She was an avid gardener, talented painter, and a great homemaker. She loved being with her family and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Howard, her children, Elizabeth Ann Steele Darell; Shirley Romney, Stephen Fred Larkins, and Deborah Means Brad; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, her brother Guy Rose, and her sister Eloise Hinman The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the care givers from Harmony Hospice, especially Sheila, and our very dear sister Nancy. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the Old Rock Chapel, 272 North Main in Farmington at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:45 ? 10:45 prior to the service. Friends may also call Tuesday evening from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main, across from Cherry Hill Water Park. Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
