Barbara, a beloved wife, mother, and nanny died September 15, 2021 of a heart attack. She was born of goodly parents, Clare and Cleo Breinholt, on May 11, 1957. She enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her three brothers Neil, Alden, Ron, and her sister Joyce. From a young age, she had an unwavering testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. She dedicated her life to Jesus Christ starting with serving a full time mission to Bristol England. Upon her return, she graduated from BYU with a degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. Barbara loved to travel and visited Europe, South America, Africa, and Jerusalem. This love for travel and adventure continued throughout her life. Her favorite adventure began when she met her Eternal Companion, R Kent Palmer and they were married in the St. George Temple on December 27, 1983. Barbara’s greatest joy was being a mother to her five children Tia, Echo, Timbrey, Ari, and Phoebe. She had a great love for little kids and started her own preschool. She ran her preschool for 24 years and touched many lives. Barbara had a great capacity to love all of God’s children. She affected people’s lives all over the world through, international dancers and foreign exchange students. This love of international cultures led to all of her children marring spouses from all over the world.Barbara and Kent spent the last few years serving missions, teaching people from around the world, fulfilling a promise she had been given. Barbara’s greatest blessings were her five grandkids, (Joycelynn, Naomi, Ivy, Alejandro, and Rafael).
Barbara died doing what she loved, on an evening drive with her beloved husband and her dogs. Barbara is survived by her husband of 38 years, R Kent Palmer. Her children; Tia Fomah (Solomon), Echo Acosta (Claudio), Timbrey Rosales (Jaime), Ari Palmer (Lisa), Phoebe Palmer, and her Japanese son Yuta. Her grandkids; Joycelynn, Naomi, and Ivy Fomah, and Rafael Acosta. Her brother, Alden Breinholt. Proceeded in death by her parents Clare and Cleo Breinholt, her brothers Neil and Ron Breinholt, her sister Joyce Pakradounian, and her grandson Alejandro Acosta.
The greatest legacy that Barbara left her family was her testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ; because of this we know we will see her again.
