Anjuli Nicole Smith Mendenhall

July 25, 1984 — June 13, 2021

Anjuli Nicole Mendenhall passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jun 13. Anjuli was a loving sister, an adored daughter, a friend, and most importantly, a mother.  Anjuli was born Jul 25, 1984 in Goa, India and was adopted as an infant by Duane and Lori Smith. She grew up in Centerville, Utah surrounded by her siblings and her grandparents.

Anjuli loved to cook and bake, her delicious crepes with caramel sauce will be missed.  She could often be found using her creativity to make art out of gems and rhinestones, or completing a puzzle. She loved her Coke Zero and collected Coca-Cola memorabilia that was displayed around her home. She was an avid University of Utah fan and loved watching Ute Football. She enjoyed perfecting her hair style and making sure she had impeccable nails.

Anjuli is survived by her two daughters, Malyna and Myleigh, by her parents Duane and Lori Smith, by her siblings Marie (Jon), Derek (Heidi), Britton, Jadon, and Amy, and her maternal grandparents Joseph and Darlene Hanson. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Willard and Ruth Smith. Anjuli will also be forever remembered by her nephews, nieces, extended family and dear friends.

The family wants to thank all those who have supported us during this time. We have felt your love and prayers strengthen us.

Services will be held on Friday, Jun 18, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 610 North 100 East, Centerville, UT.  A closed casket viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m.

For those unable to attend the service in person, a live broadcast can be seen on the Russon Brothers Mortuary Facebook page. The live broadcast will also be posted below at around 10:50 a.m.
