Alice Jane Hayes Trejo

September 9, 1938 — January 7, 2021

Alice quietly slipped away at the home of her son after suffering a stroke at the age of 82 years. She was comfortable when she returned to her Heavenly Father and a glorious reunion with loved ones.
Mom was born September 9, 1938 in Salt Lake City to James Orval and Annie Wilson Hayes.
Mom married Isaac L. Trejo (preceded in death) in 1963 and together they had 5 children.
Alice is survived by her brothers Robert and Orval Kay Hayes and families; 5 children, 20 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren: Leonel Trejo, Tiffany and Cameron Collison, Bentley, Ember, Alyne, Taylor and David Tirado, Parker: Richard Trejo, Tory, Elise and Jordan Summers: David and Jessica Trejo, Philip, Danielle, Madison, Alaijah, Izeya: Tami and Shaun Tucker, Tony Tucker and Makayla Leavitt, Kyle and Carrie Tucker, Jamie and Sergio Fuentes, Amber, Tamara Tucker and Shyanne Ritter: Duane and Mellissa Trejo, Aleia Trejo and Sergio Garcia, Jace, Kaden, Rylee, Michael.
After High School Alice served an LDS mission in Guatemala, Central America. She studied cosmetology and opened her own beauty shop in her home for many years. Later in life she worked at the Utah State Tax Commission.
Mom was known for having such a huge heart and her giving ways helping many people in her ward and neighborhood. She always expressed gratitude and love for her family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
