Dear Shawn, Colleen, Maquelle, Calder, Kaden and all extended family members,
We want to express our deepest sympathy and love for you at this most difficult time. We will always love Kelsi and remember her sweet friendship for Charisse. How thankful to Heavenly Father we are that Charisse and Kelsi met when they both were young and how we watched them grow up. We were so sad to move away but, Charisse always knew Kelsi and her would be friends forever. You will continually be in our thoughts and prayers. We send our love to you and may you find peace and comfort now and especially throughout the days ahead.
With all of our love, Harrison, Kim and family

“If you celebrate your differentness, the world will, too. It believes exactly what you tell it—through the words you use to describe yourself, and the choices you make to express yourself. Tell the world you are one-of-a-kind creation who came here to experience wonder and spread joy.
And that is exactly what you did!
I now have nobody to have people stare at me with but I understand, you are probably dancing with Tom Brady's twin right now.
I will drink some mountain dew for you, and sprinkle a little glitter wherever I go.
Don't rest, girl. Party like your wheels just got shined.
Miss you already!

I have not met Kelsi as a cohort in the master's program and she has made a lasting impression on me, as she had with many others. Kelsi is a strong, friendly, cheerful, and completely understanding. To me, she is approachable and has a passion for helping others. I am grateful for that Kelsi chose to study at BYU so that I have the privilege to meet her. Our first semester as graduate students were tough, and Kelsi still had a great demeanor and personality despite her challenges. It is an absolute honor that I can be a part of her life and share the same passion as her in the social work field. I will always keep her as a dear part of my life.

Kelsi always had the light of the gospel shining in her eyes! She truly was a kind, joyful, sweet friend to everyone who knew (and didn't know) her. It is easy to see that she was loved by all who met her. Praying for your family at this time. I know you will find comfort in the gospel that Kelsi held so dear!

I've often thought of Kelsi since she graduated from DHS. She was such a joy to have class. She was a positive influence on me and all who associated with her. God Bless your family during this time. She will be missed. Mrs. Amber Williams

I really don't know what to do right now. I mean the one thing that sticks out in my mind was when kelsi could still walk. We were put as roommates at summer camp. There was a dance we were getting ready for and kelsi showed us a tiara her mom had helped her pack. She got all bashful about wearing it outside the room but I told her there was nothing to it. She let me wear it that night and I had all this attention. A few years later we started talking about this memory while once again at summer camp and we were once again roommate. I had introduced her to Mountain Dew and Skittles during a game of Apples to Apples. She told me that seeing me take control of things after I had the tiara on showed her she needed to come out of the bubble. She needed to take chances and try new things. She told me she looked up to me. Now I know I'm not perfect but to hear that beautiful bright eyed beauty tell me that she looked up to me, really helped me. I know that the cravens were The luckiest family out there because for 25 years they had kelsi as their daughter. She touched the hearts of everyone that knew her. I love you guys so much. I know you will see her dancing again someday, this time with a perfect body. She deserves it.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this very difficult time. Kelsi is the light of your lives and everyone she came into contact with. She is an example of strength and courage. We cannot help but be happy for her new life and reunion with her grandpa and grandma. They will take good care of her, and we all know that she will be taking care of them too.

How bitter sweet this is, Kelsi is free at last of the challenges of her frail body. She accomplished so much. Yet we rejoice to know she is free of her pain and confinement of a diease that took little by little day by day. Kelsi's smile which always lit up her face must be bigger while she walks, runs, skips, and dances today and forever more. Kelsi you were deeply loved and will be forever missed. Peace be with your family knowing you are free at long last. Aunt Jeanne

Dear Kelsi, I know I never knew you, but you seemed like such an amazing and inspirational person. I had heard about what happened on Facebook through mutual posting and I had an urge to say something here. You were beautiful and from what I've seen, very artistic and persistent. I truly wish I could have met you. I'm sure my mom would've loved to meet you as well. She struggles with MS and I'm sure it would help her to meet someone who fights through a life altering disability with motivation and happiness to spare. You were so strong, it hurts to see all the posts from mourning friends but it also puts a smile on my face seeing the wake of happy memories you left for all your friends and family. I know I'm only thirteen and I don't know much about anything, but what I do know is that you were a wonderful person. Rest in peace Kelsi, maybe I can meet you when I invent a safe method of time travel, or maybe when I pass. See you soon Kelsi. With Love, Autumn
