The Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary is located in the historic Anderson home in Salt Lake City. The original structure was built in the early 1900's and was the home and office of Doctor Anderson. It is believed Dr. Anderson was the first female physician in Utah.
The building later became a mortuary and at the time Russon Brothers purchased it in 1954, was owned and operated by Joe Kingdon. In 1957 the Russon brothers renovated, expanded and remodeled the building.
Over the years other improvements and upgrades have been made. In 1992 an extensive remodeling of the interior was completed. Tours of the building are always welcome.
